John Betjeman (9 letters signed (5 autograph), to Canon Bernard Mortlock, on the conservation of church architecture, 15 pages, 1951-64), Sir Winston Churchill (typed letter signed on constituency affairs, 1 page, 7 July 1955), Robert Graves (2 autograph notes signed responding to enquiries from schoolchildren, 1962-69), Henry Hallam, C. Day Lewis, Sir A.J. Munnings (autograph menu and sketch), T.S. Eliot (two Christmas cards, signed, one with an accompanying autograph note, and a typed letter signed to Francis Berry, 7 December 1955), Siegfried Sassoon, John Masefield, G.B. Shaw (autograph draft letter to Daily Herald, 23 October 1931, and one other), Edmund Blunden (2 letters), H.W. Longfellow, Edith Sitwell, Hammond Innes (manuscript draft short story entitled 'Another Intake Joins Ship', 10 pages), William Burroughs (2 postcards and 2 typed letters signed), Groucho Marx, Anthony Thwaite (autograph manuscript, 11 pages), Christopher Logue (3 copies of a broadsheet, signed), and others, including correspondence with the dealer Jake Schwartz, cuttings and ephemera, altogether about 60 items, housed loose in three folders with some additional items loose in a manilla envelope
