4to, first edition, number 30 of 100 copies on Dutch handmade paper, signed by the author, 2 blank preliminary leaves, one blank leaf at end (pp. [735/736]), twentieth-century dark blue morocco gilt by Buddenbrooks Boston, with abstract rectangular gilt and blind fillet designs on covers with two onlaid green bands, wide gilt turn-ins with similar decoration, watered silk doublures and endpapers, original wrappers bound in, edges uncut, the wrappers somewhat soiled, with some tears and fraying, and reinforced on verso

The signed edition of 100 copies of the greatest novel of the twentieth century.

The edition was limited to 1000 copies of which 100 were numbered and signed on Dutch handmade paper, 150 were numbered and printed on vergé d’Arches and 750 were merely numbered.
