Condition

The sheet is not laid down, but is adhered to a backing card via two hinges along the top edge. The sheet is unevenly cut. There is slight creasing to the edges of the sheet, most probably in line with a previous framing, and not visible in the present mount. There are one or two small flecks of studio detritus, and a small possible pin hole visible just to the right of the head, and a further tiny pin hole just below the sitter's right eye. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Housed in a thin gold-painted wooden frame, set within a cream card mount behind glass.
