Description

  • A Louis XV silvered-bronze, cut glass and crystal six-light chandelier
  • cut glass, rock crystal
  • 112 by 76cm., 44 by 30in.
with twelve branches issuing from a slender central shaft with faceted baluster elements, six branches with shaped drip-pans and hung with pear-shaped drops and with six further branches supporting spire ornaments similarly hung, with a rock crystal ball pendant below,  later elements

Condition

Generally in good condition. The frame is tarnished and could benefit from cleaning according to taste. Some replaced and later elements including rock crystal ball. Minor chips.
