Condition
The canvas has been relined. Ultraviolet light reveals scattered tiny spots and thin strokes of retouching. The old varnish fluoresces quite opaquely however it is unlikely that there is further notable retouching which is not apparent under U.V. light. This painting is in good condition and is ready to hang.
Held in a simple, coved gilt frame.
