Description

  • 113 by 54 by 46cm., 42 ½ by 21 by 18in.
with a pierced tapering back decorated with vines flanked by sphinxes and surmounted by a cartouche flanked by winged sphinxes, the dished seat above a paterae frieze on pierced supports centred by a grotesque mask, with turned baluster stretcher, both with number 3 stamped in several places

Condition

The chairs are in general good condition with some old woodworming marks, re-gilding, one with crack in seat and marks and scratches consistent with use and age.
