  • Fountain Mask
  • white marble, with an aluminium mount
  • Italian, 16th/ 17th century

Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is very good with dirt and wear consistent with age. The marble has been outside and there is wear to the surface due to weathering. There are minor chips and abrasions to the edges. The modern mount covers the spout at the back. There are chips and abrasions including some larger chips to the edges and one to the tip of the proper right ear. There is some surface dirt/encrustation including to the forehead.
