Catalogue Note

"Her work is made of finely fretted steel threads stretched densely between tiny screws on wooden frames. At first glance the eye is unsure whether it is looking at a textile or industrial object, at handicraft or machine product. There is a suggestion simultaneously of Oriental sumptuousness and of futurist design."
