The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer and the cream pigment tends more towards a light yellow in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of minor wear to the extreme corner tips. Very close inspection reveals some extremely fine and unobtrusive drying cracks in places throughout, which appear to be inherent to the artist's choice of medium. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
