Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and the whites tend more towards a soft cream in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a minute and unobtrusive speck of paint loss on the extreme upper edge towards the top left corner of the upper right panel. All other surface irregularities are in keeping with the artistÂ’s working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
