The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background is brighter and more vibrant in the original.

This work is in very good condition. There are scattered surface accretions towards the bottom edge of the canvas, which fluoresce brightly under ultraviolet light and do not appear to have been retouched.
