Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly cooler in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is very light wear and handling to all four corners with some intermittent fine hairline cracks on both vertical extreme edges. Upon very close inspection, there a small number of isolated pin-sized fly spots to the lower centre of the composition and a small faint rub mark below this on the lower edge. There are very faint and unobtrusive impressions parallel to the extreme edges. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a small spot of retouching towards the centre of the upper edge and a few tiny specks of retouching to either side of this.
