Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with fewer mustard tones in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some wear to the lower right corner with associated paint loss. Examination out of the artist's frame reveals light burnishing along the centre and lower part of the left edge and to the centre left of the top edge as a result of original framing. There are two artist's nail holes in the lower two corners and a further one below the centre of the right edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
