The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality of the blue tends more towards a pastel shade in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. There is very light wear to the corners and along the edges. There are a few tiny specks of coloured rubs to the lower left and upper right corners and a few further tiny specks scattered along the edges elsewhere, all of which fluoresce under ultra-violet light. There is a very fine vertical yellow rub mark towards the top of the lower right quadrant which also fluoresces. Further examination under ultra-violet light reveals a number of isolated spots of retouching along the outer edges.
