Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the green and blue outer borders are deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Upon close inspection, there a number of scattered and unobtrusive fly spots and tiny media accretions in places. There is very small matrix of drying cracks in the red pigment towards the top left of the diamond. There is a very light nail impression partially visible in the green pigment left of centre on the lower edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
