Description

  • Rosewood, gilt, brass, marquetry
  • the larger 83.5cm. high, 39cm. wide, 37.5cm. deep; 2ft. 9in., 1ft. 3¼in., 1ft. 2¾in. The other: 81.5cm, 39cm. wide, 39.5cm. deep; 2ft. 8in., 1ft. 3¼in., 1ft. 3½in.
each with three graduated oval, quarter-veneered shelves with pierced galleries and with variant flower-inlaid borders on flared, slender turned legs, ending in scroll and acanthus cast-brass feet

Condition

Very decorative with warping and lifting to veneers on each of the shelves. One with ring marks and losses to polish. The gilt-brass mounts are tarnished, there are variations to their design and there are small losses to some of the galleries. One of the feet is loose.
