Description
- Mahogany
- 66cm. high, 88cm. wide, 68cm. deep; 2ft. 2in., 2ft. 10½in., 2ft. 2¼in.
with an associated mahogany lid, the interior with a baize lined removable inset and a tin lining tray, with a boldly gadrooned frieze raised on hairy paw feet concealing castors, stamped Gillows, Lancaster
Condition
The associated top is warped and their some old marks and scratches, however it is a good match despite the fact that it sits unevenly. There are traces of a former lock, bite and hinges to this lid. The cellaret is of good quality the upper section is removable. The tin liner has a dent to one side. There are some old age cracks as to be expected. The mahogany is faded especially when compared to the lid.
