the egg-and-dart carved swan-neck pediments centred on foliate cartouches above foliate incised friezes and divided plates, the glass engraved with stylised flower sprays within leaf and diaper incised frames

Condition

In unrestored original condition, the gilding is tired and there is much ingrained dirt. There are also losses to gilding and exposed areas of gesso and timber, notably on the cresting rails. The mirror plates have typical old marks and are generally in the condition one would expect.
