the later pink marble serpentine top above a diaper-incised and rocaille worked serpentine frieze centred on a pierced cabochon, over a pair of rocaille and double-scrolled legs ending in ball and flower feet, re-gilded

Condition

The later gilt frame is in good condition there are minor chips to gesso and there is rubbing to extremities, however this would appear to be deliberate in order to create a patina of age. One of the ball feet with a section of cork attachment, as this piece may be of uneven stance without. The new modern top in good condition.
