Description

  • Walnut, gilt, glass
  • 115cm. high, 45.5cm. wide; 3ft. 9¼in., 1ft. 6in.
with a shaped cresting above a parcel-gilt and banded moulded fame, later divided plates

Condition

Decorative, there are age cracks to the walnut, and some old repairs, the gilding is tarnished. The later mirror plates have black marks which are probably deliberate to create a sense of age, or it may be that these have been cut from an aged larger mirror plate.
