Condition
The panel is flat and even. Under ultraviolet light the old varnish fluoresces quite opaquely, obscuring a clear reading of the surface, although there appear to be some minor signs of retouching notably in the background in the upper centre and in the girl's hip. Apart from some frame rubbing along the extreme edges this work is in good condition and ready to hang.
Held in a simple gilt frame.
