Description

  • 142cm. high, 98cm. wide, 49cm. deep; 4ft. 8in., 3ft. 2in., 1ft. 7¼in.
with a fossilised grey marble top above single frieze drawer, the fall opening to reveal a fitted interior of six drawers and with a leather lined writing surface, the exterior with three long drawers

Condition

The marble top with chips to the edges and notably to each corner. The frieze drawer has some patching to veneers. The fall with a repaired crack. Patches and some losses to veneer on drawers and drawer surrounds. The pilasters with some filler. The base with scuffs and old marks throughout. The interior generally good, although the long drawer is ill fitting and there are marks around the leather. The left back foot is broken. This piece would appear to be re-polished.
