Condition

The catalogue illustration is representative. The canvas has been lined. The paint surface is in good overall condition with no apparent damage or loss of paint however there is surface dirt and a dirty varnish overall. Examination under ultraviolet reveals no doscernible retouching but a thick varnish makes insepction difficult. Overall the picture is in good country house condition. Offfered in a gilt wood and plaster frame in good overall condition.
