circular, representing a ruined temple, inset in the lid of a doublĂ© gold on silver lining tortoiseshell box, Jean-Louis Leferre, Paris, circa 1810, maker's mark, doublĂ© standard, petite garantie de Paris, 1809-1819

Condition

marks clear. The lid cracked and chipped in several places. the rim detached from bottom, mosaic slightly bumpy at base.
