Description

the shaped leather-lined top with rounded hinged ends centred by a reversible slide inlaid for games and containing a removable backgammon well, the frieze with a drawer raised on trestle ends united by a straight stretcher and terminating in brass paw feet, the interior with an old printed paper label for 'John Dooly & Sons Ltd./ Fine Art Galleries'

Condition

In generally good condition. The leather is later and has some marks. There are repaired areas of rosewood banding and repairs and veneers to other sites. The velvet lining of the backgammon board appears original. The top is 'sticky' and a little hard to operate.
