Condition

Very decorative and generally in a stable condition. Losses to paint revealing gesso and core timber in places. Ingrained dirt. The top with age cracks and much evidence of worm to the underside. The top also with areas of filler and re-touching. There are also areas on the legs and stretchers where there has been some worm damage. One foot possibly re-built. The X-frame stretchers may originally have had a small undertier or surmount.
