The canvas is unlined. The paint surface is secure and in good condition with fine craquelure running throughout under an old, somewhat yellowed varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor, fine retouching work infilling the lines of the aforementioned craquelure. Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frame in fair condition.
