Provenance

Anonymous sale, New York, Sotheby's, 4 November 1982, lot 98, where acquired by the father of the present owner.

Condition

The support consists of a single, thick panel. The paint surface appears to be secure and in fair condition with some signs of old losses under a dirty vanish. Inspection under UV light is impeded by the varnish though some old infillings do fluoresce. Offered in an ornate gilt wood frame in fair condition.
