well painted in sepia and green with a neo-classical radiating pattern of lyres on a tented purple ground, strung with gilt lines on which sit exotic moths and spreading palm fronds, the yellow border with vine and fruit symbols and formal wreaths, spurious interlaced L marks,  date codes cc and painter's mark G

Condition

one with small chip to rim, some overall wear to gilding and enamel.
