Condition

Colours in reality are not as dark in tone as in the catalogue photograph. Livelier and more cheerful. The blue is light azure blue and the red ligher and brighter in reality. Generally even 1cm pile overall. Ends overturned and overlocked. Small repair to turned over end. Loose threads from edge of one end in one corner. Loose section of old hessian on reverse. Tiny nick in one side. Minor marks in red ground in central field. Overall very good condition. Bright and bold colouration and design. Good size. Striking and evocative period Irish Carpet.
