Condition

The canvas is not lined. A close inspection reveals a few minor craquelure in the thickest impasto of the clouds, an artist's pinhole in each corner and some scattered tiny fly spots, mostly in the sky and towards the edges. There is no evidence of retouching visible under UV light. Apart from some old frame abrasion along the edges with associated small spots of paint-loss (barely visible when framed), this work is in very good original condition.
