The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition. Some expected wear on each front corner and around front snap due to age and use. A few minor traces of all woodworm. The inner is lined with a later silk damas ; the plinth is probably of the later period. The key is missing. Rare and highly decorative piece.
