Condition
Good condition overall. Remains of paint and traces of dirt in the crevisses. One horizontal restored break visible on the lower part of the sculpture. A few minor chips to the edges of the drapery. Three holes have been drilled in the tower accompanying the saint.

Catalogue Note
Les caractéristiques morphologiques du visage de cette Sainte Barbe, l'ovale du visage, les yeux en amande aux paupières supérieures tombantes, le menton menu et les lèvres pincées la rattachent aux ateliers flamands de la fin du XVème siècle. Cette hypothèse est confirmée par la cassure des plis du manteau en becs superposés et aux arêtes traitées en méplat.
