Condition

The catalogue illustration is accurate. Good overall condition. Porcelain: The base of the pot has been drilled as well as the cover to adapt the bronze mounting. Five hairline cracks starting from the rim and extending through the body (the longest 12cm long). There is a 2cm area repainted on the underglaze blue double circle to the cover. otherwise the piece is very decorative. Giltbronze: The gilding of the bronze is slightly tarnished throughout and is rubbed due to age and handling. As stated in the catalogue description, lower part is later
