Condition
The cup is in very good condition overall. A few very minor chips to the upper rim of the vase and the edges of the foot. Minor oxydation to the inside of the silver lid. The foot probably associated later. Very rare and attractive piece.

Une coupe tout à fait similaire, provenant du droguier du roi Louis XIII au sein duquel il est entré en1628 est aujourd'hui conservée au Museum d'Histoire Naturelle à Paris (140.88).
