The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks throughout due to age and handling. Some gilt bronze mounts are later. A few brass filets are lifting. A few horizontal shrinkage cracks on each lateral side. The inner is lined with a nice later green velvet and it is fitter with an electrical enlightment which has to be revised in order to work properly. Some traces of woodworm on the plinth.
