Condition

This cup is in good condition overall. A few of the turquoise enamel drops missing to the ring on the top of the foot. A few fine fissures visible inside the cup. Rare and attractive piece.

L'agate rose et grise à zones transparentes et la forme épurée de cette coupe la rapprochent d'un objet similaire appartenant aux collections du Louvre (op. cit, p.460, cat. 229) dont la pierre est datée du dernier quart du XVIème siècle.
