Description

standing foursquare, the animal's head sensitively modeled, slightly lowered and turning to the left, a runnel for the mane running down the neck and atop its back an unglazed saddle and saddle-cloth, the figure generously covered in a rich amber glaze that runs down the body and pools at the hooves and along the rectangular supporting plinth

Condition

There are the expected restored breaks to all four legs and a single break through the plinth. The tips of the ears have been restored. There is touch up to the glaze, particularly around the upper section of the legs. There are glaze gaps particularly around the legs.
