the recessed field of sixteen-point star outline, with four equidistant bosses, each the center of a stylized floret set between constellation motifs with three bosses issuing from grooved lines, the upright knob formed by a further cluster of pointed nipples within a rope-twist border, some light-green encrustation on the silvery-gray patina

Condition

There is a 3 in. (7.6 cm) crack to the center of the mirror. The patina with areas of loss and flaking to the underside.
