- bronze
crisply cast in high, pierced relief of a coiled, winged mythological beast, its bifurcated tail flexed beneath the sinewy body, the horned, bearded head raised revealing its open jaws with teeth bared, supported on a low circular base, with some malachite encrustation

There is overall loss to the gilding, but otherwise in overall good condition.
