a three-board top set into a mitered, mortise and tenoned frame with separate everted ends, over shaped spandrels carved with ruyi heads and leafy fronds flanking three drawers above a double door with removable stile bordered by two outer panels, all above a short plain apron, with baitong mounts

Condition

Made from re-used timber, there are several patch repairs to the frame and some shrinkage to the top panels. The stile, aprons and spandrels are most likely later added. There are splits to both sides and the mounts are replaced.
