Description

each with solid-plank D-shaped top set onto four straight legs of squared section, tapering slightly towards the hoof feet with simple curving plain aprons mitered into the legs and secured by four sinuous 'giant's arm' braces, the back legs each with two mortise and a tenon in order to join one another, the distinctive 'chicken-wing' feathering of the wood grain highly pronounced overall

Catalogue Note

The two tables are designed to be joined together to form a full circle.  When assemble back to back the joined legs become the same size as those in the front. The tables were designed for efficiency and convenience; they could be easily moved discreetly against a wall but when required, formed a large surface to be placed in the center of a room.
