of flattened bronze form, flanked by a pair of dragon handles suspending rings, carved with a floral spray to the edge and a clambering dragon along the side, the domed cover with a dragon knop, the stone of a creamy white color with white inclusions, wood stand, Japanese box (3)

Provenance

Mayuyama & Co., Ltd., Tokyo, acquired between 1960-1969.

Condition

The tail of the dragon on the cover has been chipped off, and there is a bruise to the interior of the cover. There are very minor scattered nicks to the extremeties to the cover and vase. There is a fissure through one handle.
