each of square form, the frame with cushion-molded sides comprised of four tiers of simulated bamboo, supported on cylindrical legs and joined by bi-layered rounded arched stretchers, each side bisected by openwork ruyi-form struts, a single bowed transverse stretcher beneath the hard seat (2)

Condition

It is likely that several of the ruyi-form struts have been replaced. There is a long patch to the side of one frame and some minor areas of repair.
