Description

the low domed cover engraved with the image of Han dynasty voyager Zhang Qian riding in his log raft, inscribed Shuangqing Tang yong bao with one seal reading Nian, the inscription repeated just below the rim of the box, the based inscribed Guangxu yisi chun Manqing deyu Changsha yin ji zhi (obtained in Changsha by Manqing during spring of the Guangxu yisi year and recorded here) with one seal reading Dachen Nian Wanqing fu (2)

Condition

The rim of the box with scattered minor chips. The box and cover with scratches to the interior and burst air bubbles.
