  • porcelain
decorated with a bird flying over a pond filled with lotus flowers and a duck swimming, the domed cover painted en suite and surmounted by a bud-form finial; together with an enameled jar, painted with flower sprays and butterflies in pink, purple, blue, yellow and green, all covered with a crackled-glaze of deep ruby tone thinning to paler colors towards the mouth rim, the interior of the base with a crackled grayish blue glaze, 19th century (3)

Condition

The baluster jar with a burst glaze bubble on one lotus petal tip and the cover with worn enamels on the knop and yellow flowers. The enameled jar with some iron spots, burst air bubbles and crazing to the surface.
