each with steep rounded sides rising to a gently flared rim, both painted on one side in underglaze-blue and overglaze enamels with a scholar and his servant walking in a landscape, flowering trees in the foreground and cloud-enveloped hills in the distance, the reverse inscribed with a couplet, ending with a single-character seal mark, shang, six-character mark in underglaze blue (2)

Condition

Both with a few small burst bubbles at the rim, one with burst bubbles to the base, the other with a small glaze gap to the base. Otherwise in overall good condition.
