  • Diameter: 10 1/4 inches, 26 cm
the conical sides rising from a short straight foot to a scalloped rim, lightly carved in the center with wavy lines radiating from the central well, the underside similarly decorated, covered overall with a pale bluish-green glaze thinning around the rim, seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

There is some light scratching to the glaze on the interior and some small bubbles and burst air bubbles to the glaze. Overall good condition.

Qianlong bowls of this form are extremely rare although a similar bowl is illustrated in Treasures of the Royalty. The Official Kiln Porcelain of the Chinese Qing Dynasty, Shanghai, 2003, pp. 339.
