Description
portrayed seated on rockwork supporting a bowl, holding a bixie, wearing an elegantly draped robe extending to a cowl covering the chignon, adorned only with bangles encircling the wrists of the separately made hands

Condition
The bowl has been off and reattached and each hand has a chip to one finger. The shoulders of the Guanyin with glazed over kiln grit. There is a 1/4 in. (0.6 cm) firing crack and kiln grit to the exterior of the base. There are the expected glazed over firing tears on the back of the rockwork.
