each of barbed quartrefoil section, enameled with shaped panels arranged in two tiers, the top tier enclosing birds amidst blossoming prunus and pheasants amidst magnolia and peonies, the bottom tier with mythical beasts, all below a band of mythical beasts on the shoulder, the neck with 'antiques' set with a pair of ruyi handles

Condition

One handle has been broken off and glued back on. There are two small drilled holes to either side of the handle from a previous metal repair. Both handles have only traces remaining of their original cold painting. There are several small chips and frits to the rim. The enamels have slightly misfired and in some areas have run slightly giving a blurred appearance to the decoration.
